Quality Assurance Automation Contractor

*This job is fully remote with the possibility to work from our NYC office*

  If you join us, what will you do?

  • Uphold our Quality Assurance standards while testing our technology using Automation and Manual tests where needed
  • Perform load and stress testing of the PowerInbox Ad Server
  • Be part of the Quality Assurance group and be fluent in Quality Assurance practices
  • Work independently while still reporting to the QA Manager
  • Maintain a QA mentality (ability to accurately identify and reproduce defects through verbal and written methods of communication)
  • Verify issues submitted by other parties

In order to be great at your job, you’ll need:

  • 5 years prior experience in a QA Role with Software Technology
  • Knowledge of C# and .NET Core
  • Experience with Software as a Service and the Azure Cloud
  • 5+ years Experience with automation frameworks/automated tests and Load/Stress/Performance Testing
  • Experience with REST API testing and common tools associated with it
  • Previous experience in a contractor position
  • The ability to adapt to new technology quickly
  • Demonstrated skill at creating and executing Test Automation
  • Knowledge of common QA Practices
  • Knowledge of defect tracking systems (such as JIRA) and test case management systems
  • Experience collaborating with developers to maximize test coverage between the developer’s own tests and the QA testing effort
  • Experience working in a remote, Agile development environment
