Account Executive – Advertiser Sales

*This job is part-time remote and part-time working from our NYC office space*

If you join us, what will you do?

  • Prospect & close new business opportunities with national advertisers, agencies and performance marketers across all verticals
  • Maintain an active pipeline of new business opportunities while supporting account management group in maintaining customer relationships with a focus on retention and growth
  • Help identify advertiser verticals and categories for new business and build narratives around how PowerInbox’s product addresses and solves advertiser and market needs

Additional Role Details

  • Support team efforts to achieve company goals
  • Diversify advertiser base and cultivate relationships to help advertising group hit and maintain quarterly/yearly revenue goals + IO targets
  • Maintain an active pipeline of brand and performance advertisers through full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
  • Help guide new advertisers through PowerInbox launch process
  • Present relevant upsell opportunities and new product offerings to advertisers
  • Support VP, Advertising Sales and marketing team in qualifying and closing inbound leads
  • Provide Legal with detailed analyses of contract redlines during negotiation phase
  • Represent company at relevant trade shows throughout fiscal year to increase new lead flow and secure new business opportunities

In order to be great at your job, you’ll need

  • 3-7 years prior experience in adtech/digital media sales
  • Strong attention to detail; well organized and relentless in follow up
  • Excellent social skills with proven ability to overcome objections and form trusting relationships with clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in working remotely
  • Experience in related Ad Tech space for either Contextual (Native) Advertising; Display Advertising; Mobile Advertising; Mobile Apps; Direct Response/Performance Marketing
  • Experience with Email industry
