Goodbye, Cookies. Hello, Alternative Strategy [Webinar]

3rd party cookies webinar

PowerInbox recently hosted a webinar together with World Forum Disrupt to discuss the impending end of third-party cookies and how publishers should adjust their strategies to reduce reliance on them.

PowerInbox’s CEO, Jeff Kupietzky, was joined by quite a few special guests. Michele DeVine, Buzzfeed’s Senior Director of Programmatic & Commerce Partnerships, did a fantastic job moderating the discussion. Daniel Papalia, Director of Programmatic Revenue & Strategy at DotDash, and Stephanie Layser, News Corps’ VP Advertising Technology & Operations, beautifully leveraged their know-how and experiences to share their thoughts on the future of advertising without 3rd-party cookies.

Google recently announced that they will end the use of third-party cookies in Chrome, which has been a long time coming. Ad targeting and personalization is going to change, and RTB will be seriously impacted. Publishers need to explore multichannel messaging alternatives using first-party data and reduce their reliance on cookies if they are going to not only succeed but thrive in the future.
